Budget Administration — Permissions

Overview

This page documents the permissions used in the Budget Administration feature. Permissions determine which transactions a user can access and which actions are available within them.

Permissions by transaction

Permission module name: Budget Administration

Permission Grants access to Requires
view Access /budget-administration. View the budget table, summary cards, year filter, Budget per item modal, Logs modal, and the Reports tab.
edit Create new budgets (+ New Budget), create next year's budgets (+ Create next year's budget), and modify existing budgets via the Modify budget row action. view

Troubleshooting access

  • If the Budget Administration screen is missing from the menu, verify that the Budget Administrationview permission is assigned.
  • If the + New Budget, + Create next year's budget, or Modify budget actions are not visible, verify that edit is assigned in addition to view.
  • To request access, contact your supervisor or system administrator.
