Chat — Permissions
Overview
This page documents the permissions used in the Chat feature. Permissions determine which parts of the screen a user can access and which actions are available.

Troubleshooting access
- If the Chat option is missing from the menu, the
viewpermission has not been granted. - If the All Chats and Assistants tabs are not visible in the AI set up modal, the
editpermission is missing. - If a thread is not visible in the main chat view, it may be inactive or its parent assistant may be inactive — an admin can check from the All Chats tab.
- To request access, contact your supervisor or system administrator.
