Customer POs — Permissions
Overview
This page documents the permissions used in the Customer POs feature. Customer POs involve several specialized permissions beyond view and edit, reflecting the multi-role approval and version management workflow.
For general access concepts and permission categories, see: Permissions & Access
Permissions by transaction
| Permission | Grants access to | Requires |
|---|---|---|
view |
Access /customer-pos; both CPOs and Invoices tabs; View row action on all CPOs |
— |
edit |
Review modal on ACTV CPOs (register and delete invoices and payments); Finalize row action; Activate row action on FINA CPOs | view |
pos new version |
Edit, Submit for approval, and Cancel version row actions on INPG CPOs; creating new CPO versions is done from the Projects module | view |
pos version approval |
Review modal on APDR CPOs; Approve and Reject buttons for new version decisions | view |
mismatch cpos |
Review modal on MISM CPOs; Approve mismatch (finalize) and Reject mismatch (return to ACTV) buttons | view |
Note
CPO creation (first version and new versions) happens in the Projects module, not here. The pos new version permission in the CPO screen covers only the correction flow after a rejection (edit, resubmit, cancel).
Note
The pos version approval permission applies to both the Projects module and the Customer POs screen. Some SARA permission configurations may list it as cpos new version for the CPO-specific context — both labels grant approval rights in this module.

Troubleshooting access
- If the Customer POs screen is missing from the menu, the
viewpermission is missing. - If the Review modal opens but the Register invoice / Register payment buttons are not visible, the
editpermission is missing (for ACTV CPOs) or the CPO is in APDR status (Register buttons are always hidden on APDR). - If the Finalize or Activate row actions are not visible, the
editpermission is missing. - If Approve/Reject buttons are not visible inside the Review modal for an APDR CPO, the
pos version approvalpermission is missing. - If Edit / Submit for approval / Cancel version are not visible on an INPG CPO, the
pos new versionpermission is missing. - If the Review action is not visible on a MISM CPO, the
mismatch cpospermission is missing.
