Logistics — Permissions

Overview

This page documents the permissions used in the Logistics module. Permissions determine which transactions a user can access and which actions are available within them.

Permissions by transaction

Permission module name: logistics calendar

Permission Grants access to
view Access the Logistics Calendar (/logistics-calendar). View all events on the timeline, including event details and logs.

Note

The Logistics Calendar currently has a single permission level. All users with view can both view and interact with events (create, edit, confirm, cancel). There is no separate edit permission for this transaction.

Permission module name: logistics

Permission Grants access to Requires
view Access the Logistics Plans list (/logistics) and view LP details via the "View" and "Notes and logs" row actions. Also grants read access to the "Transfer without SPO", "Stay without SPO", and "Vehicle without SPO" tabs. —
edit Manage Logistics Plans: access the LP Administration screen (/logistics-admin/:id), add and edit bookings (trips, stays, vehicles, extras), upload files, assign roommates and passengers, issue SPOs, and cancel LPs. Also enables the "Transfer expenses" and "Cancel" row actions in the list. view

Permission module name: Projects calendar

Permission Grants access to
view Access the Projects Calendar (/projects-calendar) and the by-employee view (/projects-calendar-by-employee). View project hours Gantt and open week detail modals.

  • Logistics coordinator

  • Logistics team / Admin

  • Project manager / Supervisor

    • logistics calendar → view
    • logistics → view

  • Collaborator (read-only)

Troubleshooting access

  • If the Logistics Calendar does not appear in the menu, verify that the logistics calendar → view permission is assigned.
  • If the LP list is visible but the Admin action is missing from the row dropdown, verify that logistics → edit is assigned.
  • If the Projects Calendar is not accessible, verify that Projects calendar → view is assigned.
  • To request access, contact your supervisor or system administrator.
